The Opera House Gifts & Gourmet Events

Wine Tasting -  We have tastings every Friday evening (4:00 to 8:00 pm), Saturday afternoon (noon to 4:00 pm) and Sunday afternoon (noon to 4:00 pm) at the Opera House Gift & Gourmet.

We think this is EXTRA SPECIAL!!!!!!    Years ago, we used to have a feta cheese spread that was so-o-o-o-o good on everything--pasta, crackers, baked potato, veggies, fingers, you name it.  Through a series of mishaps & bad judgement, the cheese spread went away.  It was only available to us in the memories it evoked.  We gave our very last sample to a chef friend of ours to see if it could be duplicated.  She worked long and hard and replicated a very close second.  Before we could get it into production, she left the country with her husband.  After many attempts to find someone who would make it for us.....WE DID and now we proudly present............

Eat for Health Cookies and Tea featuring Prebiotic cookies and crackers by Sweet Tooth Comfort. Our teas being sampled are from Bencheley Tea, a Virginia Company.

Friday April 2, 2010 4:00-8:00

Wines from Italy that will compliment your Easter Holiday meal. Nick Anderson from Grappoli Wines will be here to pour his wines from his portfolio.

Saturday April 10, 2010 Noon-4:00

Ice cold beers! Justin Rodger from Specialty Beverage will be here to pour and talk about the "Full Sail" line of beers from Oregon.
